you could go to a salon and get it relaxed, but that takes a long time. try washing it with cold water and use shampoo and conditioner designed for thick hair, or your hair color. it usually works for me and i dont no y. hope it works!

This isn't a household remedy..But I also have extremely thick hair, and so when I am at the salon, I ask them to thin my hair with thinning shears...That helps a little...I also make sure that I always have a spray gel in my hair and use lots and lots of conditioner when I wash my hair...Diffusers on the end of a blow dryer combined with a barrel roll hair brush helps a lot too. LoL, although on a really muggy day..The only thing I am able to do is tie my hair back.
